![]() Mod Organizer alerts the user when that intwrvention is required. Just leaving in Overwrite is not recommended and is not supported. Only the use of 3rd party tools where MO can't find out what is actually being overwritten and new folders will require user intervention. ![]() The Overwrite Folder is a highly automated function that is hidden from the user 99% of the time. Having a separate folder for each profile just will not work. Profiles are a text document telling Mod Organizer what to create the virtual folder from. The same goes for it being profile dependant. It cannot be written to if virtual files would end up in real data folder. That purpose is to replace the Data folder when files change and to do so it must be a real folder. Whatever is in it will have infinite priority meaning it will always win file conflicts.Īlso it applies to all profiles, a necessity of the main purpose it has. Overwrite is an actual folder in Mod Organizer.
